Hands down the best bakery in town. Bert’s has been our go to bakery for the last 20+ years and was beyond ecstatic when they opened the Westnedge Ave location as it is closer to us as we drove from Three Rivers. Every time we order a cake we think it’s the most beautiful cake. This time is no different- but the photos doesn’t show it’s sparkle; Holly added a special glitter touch this time to celebrate our momma’s 70th birthday. Thank you to all the Bert Bakery ladies that have continued to bake and serve the community with great but absolutely beautiful treats.

Absolutely delicious gluten-free cake! You honestly couldn’t even tell it was gluten-free—it tasted that good! It was completely worth the hour drive. Holly was so kind and went above and beyond with the decorating. We mentioned on the order form that the recipient loves dachshunds, and Holly took the extra time to decorate the cake with little dachshunds on it. Such a thoughtful and personal touch! One of the biggest compliments I can give Bert’s Bakery is that our son didn’t eat cake for the first 12 years of his life. Then he tried a cake from Bert’s Bakery, and it is still the ONLY kind of cake he will eat! 😂 Wonderful customer service, beautiful decorating, and absolutely delicious cake. We will definitely be back!

If you need to order a cake for a wedding, birthday or special event, buy a slice of their cake first to see which flavor and frosting you like. The cake slices are reasonably priced at $2.75 each. My favorite is the German chocolate. It’s not your usual bakery where they have danish and donuts. This one is all about cake and cookies. To me, the cookies here are the best anywhere. They are moist and big!

Bert’s was amazing for my wedding! They offered great advice and extra help when we found out our venue’s fridge wasn’t big enough for storage of our cake- which was beautiful and delicious! Grateful for their skills and kindness

Absolutely incredible experience here ordering a cake for my daughter’s first birthday. I brought in a picture of the Alice in wonderland cake from the movie and boy did they deliver! But the best part, it tasted SO good! Everyone was raving about how gorgeous it was AND how delicious it was! We went with buttercream frosting instead of fondant. Everyone we spoke with there was so kind and helpful.
